UK User Meetings “A Big Success” For RADAN Software

RADAN, a cutting-edge solution for the design and manufacturing of sheet-metal products, held a series of six successful UK User Group Meetings throughout November, showcasing the latest 2016 release of the software.

Taking place at six venues including the Coventry Manufacturing Technology Centre, Hexagon Metrology headquarters in Telford and Milton Keynes, Wilson Tool International in Swindon, and both the Hamilton and Wetherby racecourses, the meetings were focused around RADAN’s latest enhancements and functionality.

Kevin O’Connor, RADAN Sales and Major Accounts Manager, reports that many customers who attended the events, were very impressed with the number of major technological upgrades that improve the CAD/CAM, Radbend, Radm-ax and Radtube functions.  He says: “Events like these are invaluable to RADAN as they provide the opportunity to our customers to have a direct input into our future development direction.”

A robot manufactured with RADAN and designed to showcase features included within the latest release of the software, RADAN 2016, was exhibited at the meetings. Dubbed RADIC, the robot was featured at each venue to generate enthusiasm for the latest release. RADIC has also made appearances at other trade shows around the world including the US, Germany and France.

Attendees were also given an insight into the latest e2i release which has improved integration between RADAN’s CADCAM solution allowing customers to mass import DXF files directly into e2i.

The meetings also provided an ideal opportunity for customers to preview the new Logistic product, Radmanager, which was also enthusiastically received along with some extremely positive feedback.
