Laser Pioneer Sahajanand Partners With RADAN

One of India’s biggest machine tool companies has formed a partnership to include the world’s most powerful sheet metal CAD/CAM software with the majority of its range.

Sahajanand Laser Technology, based in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, was the innovator behind the world’s first fibre laser cutting machine, and also provides laser marking systems, laser micromachining, laser welding equipment and bespoke solutions.

But customers wanted improvements on the simple basic 2D software that came with the CNC laser cutters.

So SLTL partnered with RADAN’s Indian reseller Radcam Technologies Private Ltd, and now supply RADAN’s Advanced Radprofile package from Vero Software with many of their laser machines, including Vector, Prime, Future X, BS, LD and RP.

SLTL Managing Director Maulik Patel says: “Our partnership with RADAN, from the Vero Software stable, holds significant importance for manufacturers who use our machines throughout India and parts of Asia and Europe. SLTL and RADAN both have technological superiority in our respective domains of laser processing – namely CNC laser cutters and the software to get the very best utilisation from them.

Joining forces in this way brings considerable benefits for our customers who now have their machine tool and software solution in one package, including autonesting, true shape nesting and raster to vector import functionality.

Siddhu Jolad, Managing Director of Radcam Technologies, agrees that the partnership will combine cutting edge machine tools and state-of-the-art software, exceeding manufacturers’ expectations from day one. And Vero Software’s Country Head in India, Sandeep Srivastava, says: “This partnership between Sahajanand Laser and Vero will create a new Go To Market strategy on the Indian Sub Continent. It gives a decisive advantage for customers to utilise the best technology available, both now and in the future.”

In conclusion, RADAN’s Business Development Manager for India and the Middle East, Hozefa Bhopalwala, says: “This is a strategic partnership enabling us to deliver innovative and world class sheet metal CAD/CAM solutions to the Indian market, strengthening Vero Software’s commitment to the ‘Make In India’ campaign.
